Knee Pain Treatment in Athens, GA

At Grand Oak Healthcare, chiropractic care is about much more than adjusting the spine. We

provide conservative, non-surgical treatment for knee pain, sports injuries, overuse injuries,

and other musculoskeletal conditions affecting the entire body. Whether your knee pain

developed gradually, followed an injury, or is interfering with walking, exercise, work, or sports,

our goal is to identify the structures and movement patterns contributing to the problem and

develop a treatment plan to help you move and feel better.

Our approach to knee pain treatment may include Active Release Techniques® (ART), soft- tissue therapy, stretching, mobility work, and individualized rehabilitation exercises. ART and other hands-on soft-tissue techniques are used to address tight or painful muscles and connective tissues surrounding the knee, while targeted rehabilitation exercises help improve strength, flexibility, stability, and proper movement of the knee, hip, and lower extremity. Strengthening the muscles that support the knee—particularly the quadriceps, hamstrings, gluteal muscles, and surrounding stabilizers—can improve function and help the knee better tolerate everyday and athletic activities. Treatment is individualized based on the patient's examination, diagnosis, and goals.

Chiropractic Care Is More Than the Spine

Your body functions as a connected system. Problems with hip mobility, muscle strength, flexibility, foot and ankle mechanics, or movement patterns can influence how forces are distributed through the knee. That's why we don't simply focus on where it hurts. We evaluate how you move and address the musculoskeletal factors that may be contributing to your symptoms.

From knee pain and sports injuries to neck pain, back pain, headaches, sciatica, and other joint and muscle conditions, Grand Oak Healthcare combines hands-on treatment with modern rehabilitation to help our patients reduce pain, restore movement, and get back to the activities they enjoy—without unnecessary surgery or reliance on medication.
